Thanks to the kind community over at Reddit.com/r/Dexter, who have told us their favourite Dexter moments, we’d like to present to you… The Top 10 Dexter Moments! We’ve linked to who suggested each Dexter moment under each part.
So, without further ado, a drum-roll please…
1) Dexter finds Rita… murdered

I don’t think any Dexter fan could forget this moment. I don’t think there was a spine left unchilled. It seemed so perfect; Trinity gone, everyone’s safe, leaving Dexter to return to (sub)normality…
2) Deb catches Dexter killing Travis

This was a real top contender for the number one spot, but the raw emotion felt when Rita was killed just won us over. However… we’re probably safe in saying that we weren’t the only ones who watches the final minute of Season 6 over, and over again. Just to experience this heart-stopping moment again, and again…
3) Dexter uses RAGE, it’s super effective!

You don’t just go up to someone and say that “your dead wife… can suck my dick.” You just don’t do it. You say that to someone in the street, and chances are you’ll end up in the back of a police car. HOWEVER, saying that to Dexter Morgan whilst he’s going through a… bit of a rough patch, would certainly come at position one of our ‘Top worst 10 things to do ever‘ list.
4) Dexter gives Olivia’s step-father a lesson in pain!
Now this moment was simply beautiful. A bit of street-justice from the king of Miama. Olivia, a friend of Astor’s, was being beaten by her abusive step-father… and as we know, Dexter does not like people hurting kids.
5) Dexter gives his therapist a bit of a shock…
Just the look of shock on the man’s face makes the list…
6) Deb nearly catches Dexter & Lumen in the act
If this scene didn’t find your heart climbing up into your throat, then you’re not watching Dexter right. Deb’s inner-vigilante was all that stopped her from catching Dexter & Lumen after killing Jordan Chase.
7) Dexter clocks Paul with a frying pan

Everybody hated Paul. Paul is the sort of person that could have made Helen Keller cry, just with his existence. Hence why we have found it prudent to put Dexter smashing a frying pan into his face on our list.

10) Dexter nuts Doakes in the face.

“I own you!” I think everybody had a grin on their face, when Dexter headbutts Doakes in the face.
